Number Bots and Times Table Rockstars

At Barn Croft Primary School, we use Times Tables Rock Stars and NumBots as part of our home learning offer to help children develop fluency, confidence and enjoyment in maths. Both platforms give children the opportunity to practise key number facts and multiplication skills in a fun and engaging way, while building on the learning they do in school.

Being able to recall times tables quickly and confidently supports children across many areas of maths, from multiplication and division to fractions, percentages and problem-solving. It is also a skill that continues to be useful in everyday life – most of us still use times tables and quick mental maths far more often than we might realise! Regular, short bursts of practice at home can make a real difference to children's confidence and fluency over time.
